Stadium Tours

As I’ve noted in the past, I’ve been to a decent amount of major league baseball stadiums, many of which were part of summer trips with some buddies each year.  For each stadium on these tours, one of my friends disappears for about an hour to snap all kinds of photos of the field and architecture of the stadium. I don’t think he ever takes pictures with people in them, which is a bit annoying (although others pick up the slack on this), but the other kicker is that we’ve never seen these photos. The guy is a good photographer with a good camera, so I’m sure he’s got some great shots stored away somewhere.  In the meantime, I recently stumbled upon this site, which documents each current stadium with great photographs: http://stadiumpage.com/

It’s worth checking out. In addition, there is a sister site that has some really cool photos from closed/demolished baseball stadiums from the past: http://www.stadiumpage.com/stadiumgraveyard/

Last, but not least, is this site: http://wsrings.stadiumpage.com/ This is how I found the above two sites. The great uniwatch blog linked this World Series rings page recently, which is also run by the same guys. A neat site for you bling lovers out there.
