It’s been a slow month in the blogging department, but I thought I’d share a couple of nuggets. A few weeks ago I was sitting in one of the two stalls in the floor bathroom at work. Of course some jerk comes and sits down in the other stall, interrupting my reading. Bully, with his shirt off, no less, taunts and threatens our protagonist, acting like a tough guy and trying to embarrass the kid in front of a video camera and a bunch of girls. The kid shows remarkable composure, I have to say. He lets the bully [...] Every once in a while when I was a kid, something amusing would happen during church that would make me laugh. It usually occurred during a CYO event in which one or more of my friends was sitting nearby. Whatever mildly amusing thing happened always seemed so much funnier simply because you weren’t supposed to [...] On Saturday the Mrs. and I took in the BC-Northeastern football game. BC steamrolled an absolutely atrocious Northeastern from the get go, so there was plenty of time for me to look around the stands (as opposed to swearing and yelling throughout a close game whenever BC makes a mistake).
