For BC this year, quite a few. Tomorrow at 1 p.m. BC faces off against Virginia Tech in Jacksonville for the ACC Championship. Winner goes to the Orange Bowl in Miami on January 3, 2008. It’s going to be tough to beat Va Tech for a second time this season, as they really appear to be [...] We’re old. Beginning in November 1990, I always viewed the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving as a night to look forward to. When we were in college, it was a great time to reconnect after not seeing each other for much of the semester. When I was in law school, I felt the same way. The first episode I watched was a farting competition (I read about this somewhere- Entertainment Weekly I think, which is how I knew to DVR [...] I predicted BC would lose this game 41-21. When it was 10-3 Clemson, the Mrs. was feeling tired and sick, so we left my parents’ house and drove back home. I had to hear the entire stirring 4th quarter on radio, via Meterperel . . . Great win. BC showed a lot of heart. I may [...] BC’s fairy tale march to a possible National Championship ended on Saturday night in a 27-17 loss to Florida State. BC did not play well. They had a good number of big plays, but kept stalling in the red zone. The Defense couldn’t get off the field. BC still had a chance to win it [...] |
